General

A divinely delicious red wine that embodies the spirit of its producers, who are now in their fourth generation of wine making! The character of this wine, both in its name and in its essence, has for years represented fine Abruzzo wines. Vinum Hannibal is named for the Emperor Hannibal himself. As Hannibal and his armies passed through the Abruzzo region of Italy, they freely partook of the local red wine to take with them on their journeys. In doing so, they spread the reputation of Montepulciano d’Abruzzo wine across Europe.

So, by way of tribute, our producer named their premier wine after the great conqueror Hannibal himself. Enjoy Vinum Hannibal Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC Reserva Red Wine!

General

Trebbiano d’Abruzzo is the Abruzzo wine region’s white-wine partner to its iconic Montepulciano d’Abruzzo red wines. It is the only DOC in Abruzzo specializing exclusively in white wine. Trebbiano has been Italy’s “workhorse” wine grape for more than 100 years, accounting for one-third of Italy’s wine production, and produces a delicious wine that is golden in color, with green highlights. It pairs well with simple, flavorful dishes with few ingredients.
